或摆罗纱或摆步,

穷啃草木疑知途,

家道万贯鬓何白?

箭梭匆匆又一秋.

每天早晨上班都背着一个背包,
我把它们叫牵挂。

白的、黑的、红的、蓝的、花的,
我们每天都在盼望,
会有新的牵挂。

有些人的太大, 里面什么都装得下.
有些人的太重, 背都驼了。
许多人背了一辈子, 仍不知自己在背什么?
许多人一辈子, 什么也背不起。

一般人零零星星, 什么都背,
某些人糊理糊涂, 每天都背。

不会有人忘了背, 也不会有人记得背。

背起了新加坡的传说、
背着心灰。
人性、文明、历史,
我们每天都背一点点。

“Politician?”

“Politician, you Pay and pay him salary, then he tell you what you cannot do.”

“What about a religious leader?”

The student ask with a earnest voice.

“You Pay and pay, and he never tell you what to do, because he also dunno what to do.”

Peace cannot be built by wall or skin colour

Peace cannot be built by wall or skin color
But, frankly said, the real peace will only come when the people living there realize that they are actually one people, no different, separated only by the line draw by the politician, not by themselves.
